Cat at Home Feature
GPS positions can only be recorded when the collar is outdoors under an open sky. It is normal not to see GPS reception when the collar is indoors. However, if a cat sits near a window, the collar may at times pick up a GPS signal and report positions. These positions can be inaccurate due to the windowpane acting as a partial barrier.
The "Cat at Home" feature helps prevent the display of inaccurate indoor GPS positions. When enabled, if the system detects a very strong radio signal—indicating the collar is close to the HomeStation—it will not display GPS positions on the map. Instead, a house symbol will appear to indicate the cat is at home.
