Location Services

Location Services in the petTracer app do not affect the tracking of your collar. The collar’s location is determined independently by the device itself.

The purpose of Location Services in the app is to show or hide your phone’s own location on the map. Seeing your location can be helpful when searching for a lost cat or collar—for example, when walking through a large field.

After you enable or disable Location Services inside the petTracer app, any further changes must be made in your device’s system settings.

The exact steps vary depending on the type of device you use, so please check your device’s settings menu for Location/Permissions options.
