Troubleshoot: 2.0 New Wi-Fi or Router
To change the Wi-Fi details currently configured in your HomeStation, please proceed as follows:
- Tap on Devices at the bottom of the app
- Tap on the pencil icon next to the HomeStation
- Disconnect and re-connect the HomeStation from the mains as prompted to switch on bluetooth mode
- In Wi-Fi Overview tap on the bin icon next to the network you'd like to remove and confirm
- Tap on Set up now to add your new Wi-Fi details
- Select your new Wi-Fi and add the password
- Once you see the Success Screen, head back to the app
NOTE:
If you have a dual-band router, the 2.4GHz option needs to be activated
Once you have updated your Wi-Fi, please do the following:
- Place the collar outside under open sky
- Activate Live Mode and wait for some new GPS positions to be recorded
