Troubleshoot: Collar Stopped Working


Please go through the following steps in strict order if one or more of the following apply:

  • The collar no longer shows radio connection
  • The collar no longer gives GPS positions
  • The HomeStation gives a quick double or triple blue flash instead of a single flash

  1. Unplug the HomeStation from the mains.
  2. Restart your Wi-Fi router by switching it off and on again.
  3. Wait until your Wi-Fi is available again. This usually takes 2-3 minutes after restarting.
  4. Plug in the HomeStation again.
  5. Wait for the blue LED on the HomeStation to settle down to a single blue flash around every 20 seconds.
  6. Place the collar in the HomeStation.
  7. Check that the collar's white LED flashes a few times and then switches off.
  8. Check that the red LED on the HomeStation switches on—this means the collar is charging.
  9. Fully close the app and open it again.
  10. Check if the collar now shows radio connection.
  11. Take the collar outside under an open sky and activate Live Mode.

If you see new GPS positions on the map, the collar is ready to go on your cat again.


If the above does not resolve the issue, please contact the support team and let us know the outcome of steps 7,8 & 10. 


Good to know 💡: If you have recently changed broadband provider or you have a new internet router, these details need to be updated in the HomeStation for your system to work again.
