Windows 11 Driver Installation

Note: This article is for collars and HomeStations with serial numbers below 20000


In most instances the HomeStation Configurator will recognise the HomeStation right away. If this is not the case then do the following:

Leave the HomeStation connected for a few minutes as the driver might be downloading in the background. After a few minutes, unplug the HomeStation, re-start the HomeStation Configurator and follow the instructions once again. If the HomeStation is still not recognised you will need to download the driver. A driver is a small piece of software that tells your computer how to communicate with a specific hardware device, in this case our HomeStation.


Installing the driver

Please download the driver from this link: Driver Windows 11


1. Download the Zip-File


2. Using the Windows File Explorer, locate the driver folder (usually its in your standard download folder)


3. Unzip the folder: "CP210x_Universal_Windows11_Driver". Do this by right clicking on the zip folder with your mouse and select: "Extract All"


4. Open the unzipped folder and right click on the "silabser.inf" file and select Install (you might need to select "show more options" on the very bottom first, to find the install option)


5. Accept the security message and follow the instructions


6. Upon successful installation, please re-start the HomeStation Configurator and connect the HomeStation when prompted.


7. Follow the instructions to complete the Wi-Fi configuration.
